“It is an attribute of greatness and of American exceptionalism to not surrender to our nature, but to be guided by an inner calling to persevere and to prevail, no matter the personal cost.”

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the objectives of the Florida League of Republican Voters®?

To understand our objectives, please see the “Our Mission” statement on the home page. To achieve these objectives, the Florida League of Republican Voters® organizes political meetings, recruits members, establishes Local Chapters and County Caucuses, and periodically sponsors special events and public forums to promote voter education and encourage active, constructive engagement in the political process.

Why do you describe the Florida League of Republican Voters® as a “voter-led movement”?

As things stand, the ordinary Republican voter is the “forgotten man” in Florida’s Republican Party politics. His voice is drowned out by corrupt party leaders who routinely flout the law, by Tallahassee lobbyists bent on protecting their special interest clients, and by the “Dark Money” PACs that have a stranglehold on Republican Primary Elections. Our goal is to empower Republican voters by organizing Local Chapters and County Caucuses and to support them in their work to advance our shared objectives. Together, we can reclaim the Republican Party in the name of the voters it was meant to represent.

What is National Conservatism?

The Florida League of Republican Voters® operates within the framework of “National Conservatism,” an America First political philosophy that prioritizes the sovereignty of the United States and the interests of American citizens above all other considerations. National Conservatism embraces faith, patriotism, honor, courage, merit, and tradition as the values necessary to preserve our constitutional republic. For more details, go to “National Conservatism” on the navigation bar.

Does the Florida League of Republican Voters® take positions on important issues?

Yes. And we actively engage with elected officials as we advocate for legislation that aligns with our principles and values and against legislation that does not. Our positions on important issues are summarized under “What We Believe” on the navigation bar.

Will the Florida League of Republican Voters® analyze and track important legislation?

Yes. When the Florida legislature is in session, we’ll analyze and track important legislation and provide updates as each bill moves through the committee process. If you’d like to help with this effort, please let us know using the “Contact” option on the navigation bar.

Does the Florida League of Republican Voters® work to elect conservative Republicans?

That’s our goal. We know that Republican Primary Elections are the key to electing conservatives to public office. That’s why we screen and endorse qualified candidates in certain races selected by our members. Whenever possible, we plan to recruit conservative candidates and train them to run successful campaigns. Once we’ve made our selections, we’ll publish a pre-election Voter Guide based on our endorsements.
